I was able to attend the jQuery Boston 2010 conference a while back thanks to my employer and it was a pretty good experience. Conferences are pretty good events to go to for socializing/networking with like minded people and to learn some new tips and tricks. Since I am not the most sociable person in the world, it was lucky that I did indeed learn some new things about jQuery and JavaScript in general.
Full PostI wanted to regularly post on my blog but it has been a while since my last post. Since my last post, I got a new job (kinda, been over 4 months now) that has turned so far to be a pretty good upgrade in my career as a web developer. The job is located in boston which is the last place I though I would ever take a job because of what I though the commute would be but in reality, the commute is not all the bad (considering I drive to the subway and not directly into boston).
