New Job, Kinda

I wanted to regularly post on my blog but it has been a while since my last post. Since my last post, I got a new job (kinda, been over 4 months now) that has turned so far to be a pretty good upgrade in my career as a web developer. The job is located in boston which is the last place I though I would ever take a job because of what I though the commute would be but in reality, the commute is not all the bad (considering I drive to the subway and not directly into boston).

It's has a really fun and exciting workplace environment. My actually job has not changed dramatically from my previous job as I am still using a lot of PHP, MySQL, jQuery, HTML, and CSS however I am now focusing on web applications instead of public facing websites which is diffidently a direction I want to move towards. I have also been doing a bit more design work with HTML and CSS which has been a nice change of pace. There are also a larger number of developers I am working with with is also a pretty nice change and really helps as far as growing my skills.
